Duties: As Trident's first UNIX system administrator, I was responsible for the system administration of a variety of UNIX systems; namely HP-UX, Digital UNIX (now Tru64 UNIX), FileNet, NeXTSTEP, and Pyramid UNIX. Some of my duties included: Performing OS updates, applying OS patches, training help desk staff, briefing management, Disaster Recovery Planning, capacity, load, and performance planning, installing applications, troubleshooting simple and complex issues, integrating systems, databases and applications across multiple systems, updating desktops' OS and applications, meeting with users/customers to discuss their requirements, scripting, working with database administrators, working with network staff, working with other System Administrators at other locations on the private Global WAN, being on-call during off-hours.

Duties: During College, I was an "Engineering CO-OP Student" at the Radar Systems Group CAD/CAM support team, supporting the engineers and computers associated with the manufacturing of radars. The systems were HP 3000 MPE Servers, ComputerVision CAD/CAM Workstations, CADAM CAD/CAM Workstations. Also, I designed a database on the HP/3000 designed to track the defect reports, garnering a cost-savings award.
Note: a Response Center is a cross between a HelpDesk and a Call Center
